Stop Treating PPE Like a Commodity: Why Specialist Boundaries Save Money

If your PPE supplier claims to be an expert in everything, that is not a strength. It is a warning sign.

I am a procurement manager at a 400-person industrial contractor. I have managed our PPE budget—roughly $220,000 annually—for six years. I have negotiated with 20+ vendors, and I track every order in our cost system. I do not care about logos.
